The Lanham Children’s Services program of MENTOR Maryland has reopened its site at 4501 Forbes Blvd, Suite 140, Lanham, MD. The Lanham Children’s Services program serves children who are in treatment foster care in Prince George’s and surrounding Counties.
Founded in 1990, MENTOR Maryland is a leading community-based human services provider serving children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges. MENTOR Maryland’s programs are infused in the communities they serve and are designed around the needs of each individual. The programs focus on building positive relationships that provide the foundation for development, growth and change.
The Lanham’s Children Services site was formerly a satellite office but is now fully functioning Monday through Friday, 9-5. The Lanham Children’s Services program serves children who are in treatment foster care in the state of Maryland. Children are placed in treatment foster homes in and adjacent to Prince George’s County. According to the Program Manager, Lynn Brinker, “The children in our program receive comprehensive services in a family setting, designed to help them heal and create positive relationships”.
