Smart Chicks, Inc. host event with musical performances by Carolyn Malachi, Chelsey Green, and Jeff Bradshaw.
Smart Chicks, Inc. will kick-off its “TextUAlive” Campaign on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 6:00pm, in an effort to combat texting while driving. The TextUAlive mission is to develop popular media for young audiences to reduce vehicular accidents caused by distracted and negligent drivers in America. Inspired by the song “Textual” on her Lions, Fires & Squares EP, Carolyn Malachi created the TextUAlive Campaign and PSA to emphasize the importance of safe driving among youth through the medium of music. With a planned music video release for “Textual” in early 2011, TextUAlive plans to promote its initiatives in public schools and in social media.
Enjoy live performances by Grammy-nominated recording artist Carolyn Malachi, Strathmore resident artist Chelsey Green, and Hidden Beach recording artist Jeff Bradshaw while learning more about the TextUAlive Campaign’s strategies and goals.
