Washington,DC area NC A&T Alumni Chapter will host Networking Event for local HBCU Alumni

1 2 3 4 5 (0 votes) The NC A&T State University Alumni Association - Washington,DC Chapter in the spirit of building unity will host a networking event along with members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) at Lounge 201 in Washington, DC on May 17. In the spirit of collaboration the NC A&T Alumni Association - Washington,DC Chapter is hosting a "MEAC Mix and Mingle" will take place on May 17, 2012 at 5pm at Lounge 201 in Washington, DC. This is the first of a series of events to connect area alumni to their counterparts from other institutions within the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) leading up to the 2013 MEAC Basketball Tournament.

The event will be held at Spingarn Senior High School, 2500 Benning Road, NE from 9am-5pm. More than 500 track and field athletes are scheduled to attend. On Friday May 4^th Dr. Tommie Smith will be available for in- studio and radio interviews.
